Data Protection and Privacy

Protecting, securing, and maintaining the information processed and handled through the application and our server is a top priority. Protection of any personal data, although limited in nature for this application, is also very important to us. Any user data in our possession is treated as your confidential information and used only for the purposes described herein.

When you install the app and register it with our server, you provide identifying information for your account which includes your username, phone number, and passkey. This registration process will also transfer device specific information to our server which includes the manufacturer and model number of the phone, used solely for the purpose of providing identifying phone information within your account.

Once the app is registered, the phone will periodically report location information to our server which is used solely for the purpose of authenticating transactions in conjunction with participating Service Providers. Your location can be determined with varying degrees of accuracy by GPS, IP address, sensor data from your device, or information about things near your device such as Wi-Fi access points or cell towers. This location information will continue to be collected even when the app is closed which is known as background operation. When you install the app you will consent to background operation usage as well as keeping the Location setting of your phone enabled, both of which are required for the app to function properly in providing you with fulltime authentication services.

The device and location information we collect from your phone is stored securely and not used for any other purpose, nor is it shared with any 3rd parties.
